About the role

As a member of the Growing Team your key responsibilities will be to:

> Produce plants to agreed specifications and timescales

> Monitor crop in allocated area of glasshouse

> Check moisture levels are appropriate for specific crop being grown

> Monitor for pests and diseases

> Spray crops and apply feeds as necessary

> Growing area is kept tidy and clean

The ideal candidate

This role would suit someone looking to develop their career in horticulture and are willing to work as part of a team and independently at times. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who hold a PA1 and PA6 certificate, but for exceptional candidates who are willing and able to work towards this qualification, support will be provided. A good understanding of health and safety requirements is essential to maintain a safe working environment.
